Our Mission

The Kindah Tree symbolizes the mission of Respecting Culture & Earth (RCE) Foundation to work in harmony with the land and its people locally and globally - OneFamily, OneLove, OneEarth.

RCE Foundation advances cultural arts and environmental sustainability for economic independence. Initiatives engage members of communities in deciding approaches that enable their self-determined priorities for thriving, where:

  • diversity and inclusion are respected,

  • cultural arts promote self-expression and community cohesiveness,

  • life-giving forces of nature are cultivated and harvested.

Our Values

Respecting is a purposeful action, a continuous process of accepting who I be and who you be.

Culture includes the arts and recognizes diversity, history and practices of different groups of people to thrive.

Earth and our connection to it, keeps us mindful of the sustenance, healing, and happiness nature provides.

Our Funding Priorities

Local and international initiatives support collective, cultural and environmental priorities of the Maroons in Accompong, Jamaica. Collaboration with other communities is beneficial for growing global networks for freedom and autonomy.

Funded initiatives advance self-expression through the arts and nurture thriving economies through development of community resources. Current RCE priorities to promote these initiatives are outlined on our Priorities page. Guidelines for submitting funding requests are forthcoming.
